Spanish for Heritage Speakers Program

驴Por qu茅 tomar铆a yo Spanish 35 en lugar de Spanish 1?
Spanish 35 (Espa帽ol 35) es el curso de espa帽ol 1 para los estudiantes de herencia hispana, que han hablado espa帽ol desde ni帽o/a pero no han tenido la oportunidad de estudiarlo formalmente. El prop贸sito del curso es que cuando el estudiante salga de esta clase haya adquirido un mayor conocimiento de su lengua materna en todos los niveles. Es el primero de un programa completo que ofrece el departamento bajo el t铆tulo de 鈥淗eritage Speaker Track鈥.

驴Cu谩les son las ventajas de este curso?

  1. Desde el punto de vista pr谩ctico, solamente tiene que tomar un curso para cumplir con el requisito de IGETC, ya que al completar Spanish 35 cumple con el requisito, mientras que en el otro caso necesita tomar espa帽ol 1 y espa帽ol 2.
  2. Se le explica las reglas desde su punto de vista y no desde el punto de vista de una persona que no ha hablado espa帽ol nunca.
  3. Adem谩s dar铆a un paso en convertirse en una persona realmente biling眉e y si le interesa obtener el 鈥淪panish Skill Certificate鈥, que es muy 煤til al momento de buscar trabajo, el 鈥淗eritage Speaker Track鈥 es el 煤nico programa que lo ofrece.
